Disclaimer: I haven't proofread this yet, so please excuse any errors. :)

I believe I left off in July of 2013.  It's almost 2014, so I want to finish my photo journal of the year for our family and give some fun updates on the girls!

Here's what we've been up to since July:
At the end of July, my good friend Brittany came to visit!!

We went to Klyde Warren Park

Daddy taking the trash out... Shiloh loves being silly with him

It was so hot in August that I took the girls to try their first slushies.  They enjoyed them for a bit and then had more fun making a mess with them.

Shiloh drew a picture of me with her in my tummy! I thought it was adorable.

Always a good time with another princess around.  We love Evie!

Marc and I were able to make it to my good friend Amanda's wedding!  I was so glad to be there because all of my precious ones were sick and we weren't sure if we could go until the last minute.

All three of us are expecting!

Mimi and Papa came to visit so we went to the zoo!!  They had all the girls ride a pony!!

Kenzie enjoying the "horsey" too!

Sadly, we didn't get many pictures from their trip because we all got a really bad stomach bug the night we went to the zoo.  Thanks for coming to visit Mimi and Papa!!!  We loved seeing you and really loved having you help take care of us!

Here the girls are about to blow out the candles at their birthday party (rescheduled because they had gotten sick for the first one)

Christmas Morning!!

Our family trip to the Great Wolf Lodge!
At story time (which is the only activity we got to do because me, Shiloh and Kenzie got the flu and had to leave early)

Shiloh has loved dressing up like Doc McStuffins

From July to December, our family has started school, celebrated lots of birthdays, had lots of outings and gotten sick a whole lot.  This is our first year going to a really large Mother's Day Out Program, so we are all working on building up our immune systems to keep up with all the germs.

Here are some fun updates specific to the girls:

Shiloh (4 yrs and 3 months):
-Shiloh is learning to read!!  She can sound out simple words and has quite a few memorized, so it appears as though she can read a little more.
-We've been working on addition and subtraction with her.
- She loves to make up stories with her dolls and can get captivated doing this; sometimes she'll spend up to 2 hours alone in her room pretending with her dolls and animals (typically it's about 30 minutes, but occasionally, it'll be 2 hours)
- Shiloh still LOVES her technology.  She has lots of games on her leap pad, leap reader and of course the iPad that she loves to play.
-I've also noticed that Shiloh needs a bit of alone time each day.  She will usually ask to go to her room to play alone for a while.  I often wish I had a monitor to see what she's doing when this happens.  I can hear at her door and it's so fun to hear her playing and using her imagination (I sometimes just wish I could see her too)

Kenzie:
-We've been introducing the Leapreader to Kenzie.  This is a little toy that will read the words to certain books to her as she scrolls over them.  She typically likes scrolling over the pictures and the Curious George Book is her favorite.
- Kenzie is a life of the party lady!  She is usually ready to laugh and run away to spice things up.
- She still loves to play with Shiloh and Kinley!
- At night, Kenzie is usually trying to sleep in Kinley's or Shiloh's bed; because Shiloh and Kinley can't handle it, we don't allow Kenzie to do that.  Soon though, I'm sure someone will be able to handle it and then Kenzie will want a little sleeping buddy.

Kinley:
- We've been introducing the Leapreader to Kinley also.  When she focuses in, she can read to herself for just a bit with the Leapreader.

-Kinley loves to have a good time, but is a little more of a background person.  She's not usually fighting for the limelight like her two sisters are these days.

-Kinley is also pretty aggressive; typically if one of my girls is hitting- it's going to be this little lady.  When she gets in trouble, she looks at you as though she is completely confused about why you are punishing her.  She has gotten the innocent look down!
-Kinley is VERY detail oriented when we do crafts.  I've found it interesting how she'll already try to stay with-in the lines.

The three girls have been playing together so much lately and I've loved watching their relationship develop!   Shiloh is quite the ringleader typically, but Kinley and Kenzie have also got their wills.

It also seems as though McKenzie and McKinley have gotten even closer.  They can go off and play tag and chase with each other; their laughs are so contagious when they do this that I find myself giggling with them from across the room.
