Friday, February 24- 8pm My departure time!! Marc and I will load up the twins and drive through the night in the Traverse with the necessities for the twins, myself & Shiloh. We should arrive at my dad's sometime around 1ish on Saturday, February 25.
Saturday, February 25- Sometime in the afternoon Frank and Connie will fly Shiloh to us!! THANK YOU for doing this so we don't have to make the 17 hour trek with her. :)
Sunday, February 26- Marc, Frank & Connie fly back to Dallas.
Marc will finish packing up our stuff/taking apart furniture. He will also have the carpets cleaned and the house listed with our realtor.
Tuesday, February 28- Marc & Frank will drive the uhaul (towing the Corolla) to AZ!!
Wednesday, February 29- Marc & Frank arrive in AZ
Thursday, March 1- MOVE IN DAY!!! We will move into the house that we are going to rent for the next year!!!
My last day in TX is Friday, Feb. 24 and Marc's is Tuesday, Feb. 28. We were going to hire movers, but we decided not to so that we could save some $$$, and with our move in date being much later than we intended, it allows us plenty of time to pack ourselves. At this point our house is already over 1/2 way packed!
As far as other happenings in the Marc and Reci Family... we've been pretty busy. The first Saturday of February we took family portraits, and that same evening we celebrated several birthdays with my side of the family. That night we told everyone the big news that we'd be moving.
Since then we've been playing with/taking care of the girls and arranging everything to move. Getting moving quotes, calling the realtor, scheduling LOTS of things, finding a house, etc. I felt really nervous about the move until we found a house and nailed down our schedule. Now that we've done those two things, I'm just trying to get everything in order, and I am really excited about what the future holds for us!
Here are some fun February pictures:

February Milestones:
Shiloh- so far same as last post. We can have conversations with her, sing songs, identify letters and numbers. We are trying to teach her the sounds that letters make, ie "ssss" is for "S."
McKenzie (5 months)-
- she is cutting her first tooth!! It hasn't broken through the gums yet, but you can see it when she opens her mouth.
- she can grab her feet (and suck on her toes)
- she can pass an object from hand to hand
- she rolls all the time now
- she can inch worm forward when on her stomach
- we started putting a bracelet on McKenzie to help people identify the girls properly
McKinley (5 months)-
- some days it looks like their may be a tooth but other days not so much. I'm not too sure if she is teething yet like McKenzie.
- she can grab her feet (and suck on her toes)
- she can pass an object from hand to hand
- she rolls all the time now, and seems to enjoy playing on her stomach quite a bit. (McKenzie seems to get frustrated after a few seconds on her stomach
- she can inch worm forward when on her stomachI am happy to say that I am still nursing the girls exclusively! I wasn't sure we'd make it 5 months, but we have so far!! I am praying that we can keep going like we have been!! Some days it seems like they are getting plenty of food, but there are other days when they eat more frequently and I'm not sure if they are getting enough... since they are still sleeping through the night I'm not too worried about it; although if they stop sleeping, we will definitely begin to add formula after nursing. When they turn 6 months old, we will introduce rice cereal and begin the food journey. Until then... hopefully just breast milk!
Reci - I must tell you I absolutely laughed out loud at the Copy and Paste shirts on the twins. How funny! Any yeah for you that you are still nursing - you go girl. I am so sad you are moving as all your 20's group must be. As well as Mom's and Dad's. However, there must be a very good reason, as in a paying position. If you need any kind of help at all, babysitting, packing on a weekend, meals, please, please call me. I would love to be able to help you out. We will miss you so much.
